We are so lucky at Northside to welcome Kasia Darling as our Artist-in-Residence this year! She is a local artist who creates, teaches and inspires kids and adults at her “Play in the Mud” studio! Last week, she had all students create a thumbprint in clay that will eventually be used to create a large mural in the art room. She also introduced the art of “Zen Doodling”. This week, the students are glazing their clay pieces and exploring more doodles! She will be spending a future week in the art room creating the mural!
